If you call within one week of the next quarter, we reserve the right to schedule you at the beginning of that next quarter, or do your full quarterly service early and give you a few extra days free!)

Q: What do you charge? Do I need an estimate before I start service?

A: Because we value the human touch, we do all our scheduling via phone. Q: What's better for flying insects, spiders, and scorpions?

A: No pesticide can guarantee to get rid of flying insects, spiders, and scorpions, except on contact. But our expert technicians will develop a comprehensive plan based on your unique needs. Q: Which is better - traditional pest control or organic pest control?

A: Our customers report the highest levels of satisfaction when they maintain quarterly pest control on an ongoing basis, and alternate between traditional and organic pest control service each quarter. This rotating schedule prevents the pests from developing a tolerance to the materials. But if you prefer to receive organic service year-round, that's OK too!

Q: Why do you do quarterly service? Do you offer monthly service?

A: Monthly pest control service is generally unnecessary and outdated. At Irish Pest, Weeds, and Termite, we use the highest quality products which produce superior results with less frequent application. It also prevents build-up of material, so pests don't detect/find ways around it. These advantages make quarterly service more effective while also being better for the environment. Plus, you're always covered by our Irish Advantage Quarterly Guarantee. So if there's ever a problem, we come back and take care of it for you ASAP.

Q: Do I need to be home during service?

A: Generally, no, as long as payment arrangements have been made beforehand. You may choose to be home for your initial service if you have a specific concern inside your home that you'd like us to address. After that initial service, we focus on maintaining a pest-resistent perimeter around the exterior your home, so you don't need to be home during service. We simply ask that you keep your pets inside while we're there. If you ever have a problem inside, just schedule our On-Demand Interior Service, and we'll take care of you.

Q: Why don't you treat the inside of my house every time?

A: Because we focus on maintaining a pest-resistent barrier outside your home, it generally isn't necessary to treat the inside of your home every time. In fact, the outdated over-use of materials inside has been known to sometimes stain floorboards or carpets. Therefore, we recommend inside treatment only if you have a specific problem. That's what our On-Demand Interior Service is for! (And we generally use dry, organic materials that don't stain.)

Q: Is it safe for my children and pets?

A: At Irish Pest, Weeds, and Termite, we use the safest products available, and we place them in areas that should be inaccessible to children when used indoors. We recommend you keep children and pets away from outdoor treated areas for one hour after treatment.

Q: Do you pull my weeds?

A: Our Triple-Effect Spray kills existing weeds, causes them to look like they're dying within a few hours (so the HOA can see you're making progress), and prevents new weeds from growing. Since existing weeds take several days to completely dry up, pulling the dead weeds (if they don't simply disintegrate) is up to you. Within about two weeks, they should be easier to pull out with a rake, since the roots will shrivel along with the plant.
